How each deposit method works
MTN Mobile Money. MTN MoMo is the most familiar way to move money in Ghana. Approve the payment with your MoMo PIN and the deposit normally lands in your account within moments, any day of the week.
Telecel Cash. Telecel Cash works the same simple way: enter your number, approve the prompt on your phone, and the funds are usually credited immediately after confirmation.
VISA. VISA lets you fund your account straight from your debit or credit card. After authorisation the amount is normally credited at once; some banks may ask for an extra Visa Secure check.
Mastercard. Mastercard offers a fast and protected way to deposit online. For security, Mastercard Identity Check may be requested; once approved, the deposit is generally credited instantly.
Bank transfer. A local transfer in cedis suits larger amounts. The credit is confirmed within 1 to 3 business days depending on your bank's processing cut off times.

What to know about withdrawals
MTN Mobile Money. Withdrawals to your MTN MoMo wallet are processed within 24 hours of approval, which makes it easy to reach your funds any working day.
Telecel Cash. Your withdrawal can be sent to your Telecel Cash wallet, normally within 24 hours, ready to use for payments or transfers.
VISA. Funds can be returned to the same VISA card used for depositing, where your bank supports it. Final settlement depends on the card issuer and usually takes 1 to 5 business days.
Bank transfer. Withdrawals by local bank transfer go straight to your cedi account. It carries the highest per transaction limit and is processed within 1 to 3 business days.
Before your first withdrawal, identity verification must be complete, and funds are normally returned by the same method used to deposit, in line with our Withdrawal Policy. Requests confirmed before 15:00 GMT on a business day begin processing the same day.
